What does our People Team get up to?
Our volunteers and employees are the most valuable resources that we have. Without them, we would never be able to achieve the significant things that we do. Our people team ensure that we are able to recruit and retain our resources, that they are well developed and challenged when working with us, and that any issues or concerns are resolved as quickly as possible.
See below some examples of the roles that our People Team play within the Charity. Within these areas, you could be an operational worker, a first line supervisor or a strategic leader - no matter what level you would play a crucial role in enabling Teenage Helpline to deliver on our aims and objectives as a Charity.

Our People Operations team ensure that the right resources are used in the right places, and that the leaders of the Charity have the right support in managing those people resources.

Our recruitment team partners with the leaders of the Charity to understand requirements, and find out and attract the great talent that we being into the Charity.

Our Training and Development team ensure that the right training is available to those that need it, and that it is appropriately maintained, as well as provide development opportunities to those who want it.

Policy, Compensation & Benefits
Our Policy, Compensation & Benefits teams ensure that we have the appropriate policies in place to effectively run the Charity, as well as manage all pay and benefits on offer to both employees and, where appropriate, volunteers.

Staff Engagement
Given the value of our people resources, our staff engagement team play a role in ensuring that we remain engaged with our employees and volunteers, and seek to understand their views. This team will ensure that we continuously improve the staff experience.
