What does our Commercial Team get up to?
To ensure that our charitable activities are sustainable for the long-term, our commercial team have the specific aim of generating sustainable revenue that is reinvested back into the Charity to fund all of our activities. Our commercial team roles may be directly with the Charity, or may be employed under our subsidiary entities depending on the context of the role. Whilst we have various entities operating in slightly different ways, we act as one team striving towards the same mission: to ensure that Teenage Helpline is able to operate long-term and continue to improve the lives of as many young people that need us.
See below some examples of the roles that our Commercial Team play within the Charity. Within these areas, you could be an operational worker, a first line supervisor or a strategic leader - no matter what level you would play a crucial role in enabling Teenage Helpline to deliver on our aims and objectives as a Charity.
-
Commercial Strategy
Embedded within the Charity, the commercial strategy teams play a role in ensuring that all commercial activities are well planned out and that new opportunities to deliver revenue for the Charity are explored.
-
Portfolio Management
Our Portfolio Management teams are spread across various entities. Within the Charity, their role is to ensure that all commercial activities are delivering the right return to the Charity.

Commercial Operations
Each commercial business stream will operate independently and will require their own operational teams to deliver what is required. The operational teams are at the heart of each commercial stream.
